We will have a recreation all-star team for girls playing U12 in-house softball. Our aim is to provide the opportunity for motivated in-house players to practice and play at a more competitive level. The program will require a more extensive time commitment including winter and spring practices, a summer league and weekend tournaments. Games should be completed by the end of July with the possibility of continuing in September. Newtown Rock is trying to form a U10 travel team. Tryouts will be this Thursday, 9/3/09 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All girls interested should report to Helen Randle fields.

Due to overwhelming demand, a 4th U14 travel team will be added for the 2009-2010 season. This will be coached by Joe Amendolara - joea@cityfinancialgroup.com and Bob Campbell - rjjjcampbell@comcast.net.
