The ROCK

The Newtown Girls Softball Association is a volunteer, non-profit organization for girls ages 5 through 18. All funds collected and raised go to directly back into running our organization.

The athletes that participate benefit by having a year-round program and we try to find a team/league for each individuals skills and desires that includes in-house, recreational, travel and GOLD level softball.  The in-house season begins in April with practices and games and typically concludes in mid-June right around when the school year ends. Where as travel teams practice and play year round. For both in-house and Travel programs we provide a tournament schedule after regular season ends, along with a Fall program and Winter instructional clinics.

For our in-house program we provide equipment, uniforms, team and individual pictures along with trophies to each athlete who participates.  We require parents who have daughters participating in our in-house program to volunteer and contribute to the organization. We accept all registrants regardless of ability and without prejudice.
